£39,280 including shift allowance What you'll do: As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our client's manufacturing systems. Your job will involve fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and ensuring that our operations remain seamless. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults to keep our manufacturing processes moving Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and safety checks, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards Collaborate with our engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system performance and recommend upgrades Keep your skills sharp with ongoing training and stay up to date with the latest technologies Supervise contractor personnel, maintaining safety and quality standards Work with modern electrical systems including PLCs, Drives, and AC & DC motor circuitry-interpreting wiring and schematic diagrams to ensure precision work What you'll need: Ideally, you'll have an ONC qualification or equivalent, typically gained through an apprenticeship in electrical engineering or a Modern Apprenticeship certificate. Previous experience working with electrical systems in a manufacturing environment is a must. You'll also need strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage tasks independently and under pressure.
