Reporting into the Metrology Technical Lead, your main responsibilities include; Dimensional measurement of parts, properties or vehicles; assess, measure, create measurement reports, interrogate fitment process to understand the complete overview of the system. Delivery of department and measurement projects; planning and managing related activities, reporting status, working cross-functionally to deliver project requirements. Deliver impactful problem analysis – provide root cause analysis via collecting, managing and analysing data to produce analysis reports for business partners followed by steering and monitoring problems to full resolution. We strive to positively influence all areas of the business in achieving dimensional excellence. We utilise state-of-the-art measurement equipment and seek to further innovate to achieve benchmark analysis. We have recently (end of 2024) relocated into a brand new facility in the heart of Bentley. Within the Launch Quality Centre, various technical teams collaborate to deliver quality analysis and improvement supporting both the launch and ongoing production of all of our world-class vehicles.
