Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 DOE Key areas of responsibility: Support the Engineering global teams by resolving MCAD user issues involving applications such as Creo, SolidWorks, ANSYS, RecurDyn, Design Profit, and others Create application installer packages and installation documentation Log issues and resolutions and provide management information when requested Provide support for Windchill PDMLink e.g., context permissions, adding new users, check-in failures, Creo start-up issues, corrupt caches, workspace management, browser issues, performance monitoring, standardisation, configuration files, and best practices Update training material and provide training for new and existing users Resolve any user issues with the Windchill PDMLink/Dassault Integration Identify any improvements or enhancements, provide training and detailed documentation on how the integration functions SolidWorks file archiving and repository management Liaise with IT department on the following activities: Create new IT requests in ServiceNow and track/manage to ensure they are actioned properly Work with IT and software application vendors on resolving security risks Creating/updating architecture specs (PowerPoint) Manage PC Refresh for user base Update license files Required skills and experience: 5+ years experience in system administration, IT Support or similar role. Windows 2016/2019 Server Administration Excellent technical communication skills Experience in basic Linux administration Have a sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task Enthusiastic and self-motivated with ability to take initiative and work independently Detail oriented Ability to work effectively in a team environment Desired experience: Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience Experience using PTCs Creo Mechanical CAD tools and Windchill PDMLink Project Management skills Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
