Overall Job Purpose To manage a team of specialist Revenues and Benefits staff to ensure that the department meets its key performance indicators and to provide management reporting to improve service delivery. Responsible for the development and management of the NEC Revenues and Benefits main processing system and associated processes. Responsible for the management and development of related IT systems e.g. Qnomy, information@work, Citizens Access Revenues, Citizens Access Benefits, Citizens Access Landlords, Citizens Access DHP, Business Improvements District system (BIDS), DWP Employee Authentication Service. To deliver comprehensive and innovative business IT solutions across the Revenues and Benefits Service that delivers improved customer experience and value for money. Management of Revenues and Benefits support team. Provide expertise to ensure that the Service’s key IT business improvement transformation projects are run to time and budget and to a high quality. Act as a champion for innovation and continuous improvement, promoting new innovative ways of working and facilitating change, ensuring support across all levels of the Service.
