Major IT & Digital are proud to be partnering with a leading international business with over 30 years industry experience delivering industrial IT solutions across both manufacturing and infrastructure businesses. Successfully achieved Investors in People award for the last 12 years and continue to invest in self-development for all internal teams. My clients operates the software development arm of the business from a Chesterfield location. Due to the nature of the work involved you will be required to attend the Chesterfield office 3 days per week and 2 days working from home. THE ROLE
As part of continued expansion within the software development team my client has immediate requirements for a mid-level software developer to support the development of new features, new applications and API integrations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established development team with at least 4 years commercial experience in developing .NET applications and features. You will address customer issues and maintain good client relationships including fixing of bugs, adhering to QA procedures and complete assigned tasks on time using Azure DevOps tools. THE PERSON
To be effective in this role you will be skilled and experienced in the following areas: .NET Framework such as C#, WinForms, ASP.NET Webforms, MVC Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server 2012, 2016 or 2019 Visual Studio 2019/2022 JavaScript / jQuery API Integration of 3rd party tools Working knowledge of Windows 7/8/10/11 Self-disciplined, proactive and determined problem-solver Desirable skills include some of the following requisites: Artificial Intelligence Entity Framework or other ORM technology Blazor and .NET CORE DevExpress / DevExtreme components Mobile development (Xamarin)
