We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer Setter Operator to join their dynamic team. Job Description: As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision components. You will work closely with engineers, machinists, and quality control to ensure that all parts meet our high standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC programming, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimise programs for efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities for CNC Programmer Develop and write CNC programs for a variety of machine tools, using

Heidenhain and Siemens Programming and setting machinery using

One CNC Interpret engineering drawings and 2D/3D models to create accurate CNC programs. Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds based on material and design requirements. Optimize existing CNC programs to improve cycle times and reduce waste. Conduct test runs and adjust programs to ensure accuracy and consistency. Maintain documentation of programs, revisions, and setup sheets. Troubleshoot issues with CNC machines, tools, and programs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards. Qualifications for CNC Programmer Proven experience as a CNC Miller programmer/setter Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong knowledge of Heidenhain or Siemens Familiarity with a variety of CNC machine tools, including mills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D and 2D models. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
