Power Station Integration Lead

to be involved in an industry-leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station. The Power Station Integration Lead will lead a small team to integrate functional design and undertake design optioneering to define the design of the RR SMR power station as part of the Power Station Integration team. The Power Station Integration Lead will deliver integrated power station capabilities using systems engineering methods, working with subject matter experts and discipline design teams across the power station to ensure top level requirements are met and an effective product is delivered. Responsibilities and Achievements:

Deliver the design of Power Station Capabilities and manage the performance and attributes of the power station in relation to these, e.g., net power output, availability, product cost, etc. Own the delivery of the capability driving decision making and design development to programme whilst coordinating other disciplines. Ensure the requirements flow to the lower tier systems enables the overarching power station objectives to be met. Elicit capability requirements. Integrate capability across multi-disciplined design teams to develop the design of the capability. Deliver the capability within the Power Station Architecture Model. Use optioneering & systems engineering techniques to deliver Power Station design solutions against product requirements. Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job.
