Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access for workers on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Construct and assemble scaffolding systems according to specifications and safety regulations.
Dismantle scaffolding upon project completion, ensuring all materials are safely stored.
Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and masons to coordinate work schedules and site requirements.
Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling scaffold components.
Perform inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffold building.
Ability to plumb structures accurately to ensure level installations.
Familiarity with roof access techniques and safety measures.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
