Account Director (6 Months FTC) Location:
Hybrid working - 1 day a week in our Slough office About the role:
Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands? This role involves the development of strategy, creative concepts, content, and campaign implementation. The Account Director is responsible for running creative and production processes and working alongside our team to drive a project from brief to delivery. They have a good understanding of digital disciplines and are confident working in agency teams. They create timing plans and budgets within our Traffic system, assume responsibility for the review and approval process of creative output, and ensure the projects they own run on time and on budget. You will need to be great with creative teams and account teams alike, hardworking, and passionate about creativity. The process is key, and someone who respects and understands that, although creative needs freedom, it also needs to follow a framework and process to thrive. Most importantly, this role requires a courteous, positive, and high-energy individual with great people skills. We value hard work, and we want to have fun doing it. What you will be doing:
Client Relationship:
Work in true collaboration with the client and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on their projects. Be the trusted advisor of the client, ensuring that you are the go-to and most trusted person on the account. Own the execution of projects and ensure client satisfaction is maintained throughout. Anticipate and manage any issues by staying in close contact with the client.
Project Set Up:
Take overall ownership of integrated creative projects from brief to fulfillment. Work closely with strategy and account teams in preparing social strategy and milestones. Liaise with clients to determine campaign scope and produce estimates and schedules. Identify, exploit, and manage ad hoc opportunities. Work with account teams to create timing plans and estimates within our internal Traffic system. Take overall financial control of projects, including profitability and accuracy of forecasting.
Project Delivery:
Schedule projects in line with the correct internal resource. Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget. Motivate and manage teams under tight deadlines. Drive efficiency and creative excellence at all times.
Reporting:
Provide job reporting to the Design Lead (DL) on a regular basis. Ensure understanding of how to report and manage operational income for projects. Escalate any queries concerning invoicing or estimates to the DL and AM.
Attend sustainability training relevant to your role. What you need to be great in this role:
Experience managing digital and integrated campaigns in a creative and production agency. Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms, particularly social media. Experience in Project Budget Management and Scheduling. Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships. Positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage experience for best solutions. Financially conscientious when managing project delivery. Ability to verify qualitative and quantitative output of a project against objectives. Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team while maintaining agency service.
