1x Site Supervisor needed to oversee the erection of steel and cold-rolled materials on various construction sites.
Start Date : ASAP Location : Primarily Northern Ireland, with potential for work across Mainland UK and ROI Site Hours : 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (may vary depending on the project) Paid Hours : 8 hours per day Contract Duration : 6 months Salary : £20 - £22 per hour Overtime : Overtime paid at time and 1 half
Key Responsibilities : Oversee the safe and efficient erection of steel structures. Enforce safety protocols, conduct site inspections, and lead safety meetings. Manage and allocate tasks to steel erectors, ensuring productivity and high performance. Ensure work meets quality standards and resolve issues during steel installation. Supervise the safe use of cranes and lifting equipment for placing steel components. Address and resolve any site-related issues, such as delays or material shortages. Act as liaison between workers, project managers, and clients, providing progress updates. Complete and submit required reports, including safety audits and daily logs. Provide mentorship and on-the-job training. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety laws, and industry standards. Monitor and maintain tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working order. Qualifications & Experience : IPAF (Powered Access Licence) Working at Height Abrasive Wheels Manual Handling SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) Lift Supervisor Certification Telescopic Handler Certification (Desirable) Tools & Equipment : All necessary tools will be supplied by the company.
