Industrial Boiler Maintenance Technician Location: This is a regional mobile role covering South & South East: Covering St Georges Hospital Tooting, London, Kingston Hospital, Kingston upon Thames, Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading and Southampton General Hospital Salary:

46.5-49k (Neg DOE), company van, and excellent benefits package Hours:

43 hours per week, (must be able to cover a call-out roster of 1 week in 4 weekends once trained) Our Client: Is the UK leader in Environmental Solutions. The Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mobile Electromechanical Technician to join our client’s Industrial customers team within the Energy & Utility Services part of the business which covers a selection of NHS & industrial sites carrying out on-site daily operational and maintenance routines of energy centre equipment. This includes but is not limited to Steam Boilers, LTHW systems, water treatment systems, HV & LV Electrical Systems and associated Industrial utilities equipment. Responsibilities:

Be part of an Industrial Energy team who manage the maintenance of steam & hot water boilers, LTHW systems and Heat Pump systems. Carry out routine and statutory planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems across all the sites. Ensure that the Steam & Hot water boilers are maintained as per OEM specifications. Ensure that Heat Pumps are maintained as per OEM specifications. Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly rectified to maintain the plants in serviceable order at all times (24/7). Maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports. Carry out daily routine Steam Boiler operational tasks that will comply with legislation and company policies. Compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety, quality and environmental policies. Participate in an on-call rota, providing out-of-hours cover, along with weekend working. This role involves some lifting, working at heights and/or in confined spaces. Experience:

Ideally someone with industrial boiler experience, however, if you have a solid electromechanical engineering background, we’d like to hear from you. Essential:

Strong Electromechanical experience with a formally recognised Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification. Strong organisational skills with an ability to balance a varied workload and re-prioritise in response to changing business needs and unexpected engineering problems. Be able to dismantle and re-assemble boilers and associated equipment. An in-depth knowledge of Health & Safety practices. Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable:

Boiler Operations Accreditation Scheme (BOAS). Extensive experience of working with industrial steam boilers. Medium Risk Confined Space. 18th Edition. High Voltage Operational Safety Certificate. F-Gas. Health and Safety qualifications and awareness, risk assessment, method statement training, competence in issuing and use of all company Permit to Work systems would be preferential, however, training will be provided where appropriate.
