Key Responsibilities Customer Support and Service:

Troubleshoot automation systems, including fault-finding and diagnostics. Liaise with customers to provide exceptional support services, including site visits when required. Participate in an on-call rota (initially one week in four) for remote troubleshooting and onsite support. Project Management and Development:

Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements. Support the design of electrical systems, including schematics and technical drawings. Collaborate on installation, commissioning, startup, shutdown, and ongoing system maintenance. Research and source components for system assembly. Mentoring and Development:

Help manage and mentor apprentices, fostering their growth within the company. Contribute to the development of engineering policies, standards, and procedures to maintain industry leadership. Enhance your expertise and progress toward a senior role.

Requirements: Skills and Attributes:

Proactive, collaborative, and positive team player. Creative and results-oriented with strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines while maintaining high work standards. Confident problem-solver capable of dynamic thinking under pressure. Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work overtime, including weekends and holidays. Adherence to Health & Safety legislation and company directives. Strong IT skills and experience with technical computer systems. Clear and credible communicator, adaptable to fast-paced settings. Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

HNC/D or higher in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or a related subject. Training:

Apprenticeship-trained as an Instrument Technician or Automation and Controls Engineer. 18th Edition certification.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in automation, controls, or related fields.

Competitive Salary:

£42,000 - £47,000, with additional earning potential through on-call rates and overtime. Generous Leave:

25 days annual leave plus national/bank holidays. Pension:
