MK Search & Selection are currently working with a well-respected, rapidly expanding M&E contractor who is looking to engage with an electrical project manager to deliver a fast-track £5m M&E logistics hub/distribution centre in Newport, Wales, in partnership with a leading main contractor.
As the electrical project manager, you will act as the lead on the scheme with a senior mechanical project engineer as a direct report. You will be tasked with managing the MEP package across the 6-month scheme. You will have involvement in pre-construction activities before going to site to lead a team of talented site managers and engineers to deliver the project to completion.
The company is London-based, and this is their first venture in the South Wales market. With this in mind, they are looking to engage people on a contract basis initially while they continue to tender for more work in the region to move onto after the 6-month project completes.
The company has a very good reputation across the market, with a very experienced senior leadership team who come from larger contractors and have joined in the past 2 years to implement a clear and exciting strategy to become a leading M&E contractor across the UK and European markets.
