Our client is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Planner to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your new role As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing maintenance schedules for the manufacturing equipment. Your role is crucial in minimising downtime, ensuring the longevity and reliability of the machinery. You will be responsible for the efficient planning and scheduling of all non-emergency maintenance work. Working intimately with differing departments, you will create effective maintenance plans and assist the efforts of a TPM mindset. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, they are looking for a positive can-do attitude as well as your skills and experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate would ideally have the following: Engineering degree or Engineering Apprenticeship or similar relevant qualification. Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems. Highly organised with the ability to manage several work streams with conflicting priorities. Excellent written and oral communication skills, possess tact, and the ability to negotiate maintenance needs in balance with other departmental requirements.
