We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated

Senior Producer

to join our team and manage projects from concept through to release and beyond. In this role, you will be both an owner of the delivery of games with the studio and a facilitator of their integration within the wider business. You will be embedded within the development team, owning the daily relationship with team members to ensure all needs, requirements and expectations are met while also foreseeing and managing risk. Forming close relationships is a must; fostering a happy and motivated team while balancing all the above is as much of an art as a science that will require you to engage both your production tools & methodologies as well as your interpersonal skills. As part of a game's leadership structure, you will ensure there is alignment with stakeholders on the vision and planning for each title and be accountable for delivering that vision within the constraints of time, budget and quality. The Senior Producer is also the main contact point for ensuring other departments' needs are factored into the project, such as Publishing, Release Management and the wider studio. The rundown: Permanent role Full-time (37.5 hours per week) In office (Farnborough), Hybrid, or Remote Salary range: £53,000 - £70,000 Key responsibilities: Oversee and manage design, development and release processes, often across many projects and platforms; taking responsibility and accountability for the project at every stage of development. Create and manage roadmaps outlining the development stages for a project and a prioritised backlog of work from which the team will deliver against this. Communicate between Studio Leadership, Development Staff, other Production staff, QA, Senior Management, Publishing Teams, Finance and Administrative Teams where needed to create and maintain budgets and people plans and highlight and solve any risks to the game's delivery as planned. Establish the team's working culture and best practices for development; continually monitor the teams’ and projects’ current and future health and status; ensuring their issues and needs are heard and acted upon and be ready with solutions when risks arise. Manage the external dependencies on a game, including any localisation, external QA or outsourcing partners whose contributions are essential to the game's delivery. Act as the “Scrum Master” and instill Agile principles in the team and encourage a team spirit of collaboration and visibility. Requirements The skills you’ll need: Has worked on at least 2 titles on any commercial gaming platform and experienced the full development cycle (concept to release). Must have worked with cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams and managed the dependencies that come from such a working structure. A collaborative and team-oriented work approach, demonstrated by experience in setting up processes and practices that consider and harness the team’s strengths. Strong Project Management skills, experienced in methodologies such as Agile/Scrum or Waterfall and their relative strengths and when to use them and typical software eg JIRA. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to distil complex information down to the essence of what others need to know. Assist the budget owner in planning all the expected costs into the P&L and understand how they relate to the commercial forecast and impact the bottom line. Has collaborated with publishing and operational parts of a gaming business to ensure their needs and goals are built into a game's delivery plan. Understanding a game’s quality bar to entertain and delight the target audience and able to rally a team and make them feel enthusiastic about the path ahead. Calm under pressure and able to stay optimistic and professional as market conditions change and projects incur issues. The nice to haves: Experience in VR in a Production capacity, and as a keen enthusiast knowledgeable on the trends and hottest games in this sector of the industry. Benefits About Us
