Senior Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our dynamic team at a leading Healthcare Insurance Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing systems solutions that meet the needs of our business and enhance our operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of business processes and user needs. System Analysis: Analyze existing systems and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance system functionality and performance. Design and Development: Collaborate with the development team to design and develop system solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Testing and QA team to define and develop test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of system solutions, identifying and assisting to resolve any issues or defects. Implementation and Support: Assist in the implementation of system solutions, providing ongoing support and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system solutions, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals. Training and User Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources needed to effectively use system solutions. Skills and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally with focus in a healthcare insurance environment. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and processes and propose effective solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Healthcare Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare insurance industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Strong stakeholder relationship. Experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, KAMBAN, SAFe,…) Will be a plus: Proficiency in RPG Iseries development, including RPG IV, RPG Free, CL and SQL. Knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) and related tools and technologies. Personal Attributes
