Trainee Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Main Contractor - Wolverhampton - Highways - Civil Engineering Your new company You will be joining an industry-leading contractor operating in the highways sector, based in Wolverhampton. This organisation has a strong project pipeline and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Your new role As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Monitoring project costs against budgets Assisting with accurate valuations and submissions of applications for payments Resolving differences on accounts and escalating where necessary Assessing and validating subcontract invoices/applications for payments Following up on due payments.

What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will have:

Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or similar) 1+ years' experience quantity surveying in the Civil Engineering industry, utilising NEC3/4 contracts Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records Sound communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
