A global distribution business based in Runcorn is currently looking for a Power BI Developer as they implement a brand new reporting suite as part of their tech-driven transformation project.
The business is moving away from Qlik and into Power BI, with the role consisting of the migration of data from one system to another and the greenfield build of Power BI dashboards.
The successful Power BI Developer will work alongside a large consultancy, learning skills from their experts and will be the focal point of all things BI within the business, with the expectation of the team further growing as BI solutions become more established.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating strategic business reports to allow internal colleagues to perform their jobs with the necessary information automatically provided, eliminating manual reporting tools for business continuity and data assurance. Implementing standardized BI reports across the entire company. Creating ad-hoc reports when requested. Developing data warehousing solutions that follow data modeling best practices to increase efficiency and data integrity. Conducting statistical analysis. Providing occasional 2nd line support. The role offers a salary of up to £45,000, which comes with a range of benefits and the option of hybrid working, with the expectation of visiting the office circa 2-3 days a week.
