Working within the Digital Solutions team as a .NET Developer, this role will join a new dynamic team within the wider Incora Digital Department. Digital Solutions is a fast-growing team with highly experienced members who are keen to provide business solutions and automation to drive Incora's digital transformation through the focused deployment of software solutions. About the job: Reporting to the Digital Solutions Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions. We’re looking for someone with a proven background in creating custom enterprise grade software solutions to work on a variety of projects as part of a modernisation programme. This will include greenfield projects, replacing or upgrading a range of end-of-life applications, automating off-line processes, and delivering key digital products and services. The .NET developer is responsible for the delivery of high-quality software solutions to the business. This will involve the design, development, implementation, and support of software solutions and working collaboratively with colleagues to come up with innovative solutions. Support the full typical software development lifecycle of business solutions. Developing new software and maintaining existing software in accordance with the company's business requirements. Estimating, planning, and managing your own work to deliver priorities. Working with customers to understand user requirements and software needs. Taking responsibility for investigative work to seek effective solutions. Assisting with investigation and resolution of problems. Follow and help refine our development best practices and standards. Contributing to solution architecture and software design. Comply with standards, regulations, version control, and product release procedures. Configure / upgrade / manage internal development and test environments. Review release testing for software releases. Perform review and testing of features and defect fixes implemented by other developers. Requirements: 5-8 years of relevant experience Degree in computer science, software development or related subject In-depth understanding of C# .NET development Demonstrate knowledge of .NET development using C# .NET Framework and .NET Core ASP.NET MVC HTML & CSS Angular ORMs such as NHibernate and/or Entity Framework Web APIs SQL Server JavaScript MVVM, ideally Angular Typescript A good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle processes Agile methodology A good grasp of TDD and CI/CD Nice to have skills: Docker, Dapper, PetaPoco and Azure Excellent organisational and time management skills Excellent communication skills A pro-active, ‘can do’ approach Passionate about development and coding A love of new technologies In return we will offer the things that matter: Starting salary between £65,000 to £80,000 dependent on experience Eligibility for incentive programs 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays with a holiday buying scheme Generous Company pension scheme including 4 times salary life cover Health cash plans Flexible working and family friendly policies Green Travel Allowance Generous discount portal for employees So, if you feel that the above describes you well, and want to be part of developing the Incora Story, apply now – we can’t wait to hear from you!
