(British Passport) . A leading IT Consultancy is looking to recruit an Active Directory SME to support a key end client based in the South-West of England. You will play a vital role supporting a range of enterprise applications software and technologies, driving business objectives and processes. These tasks involve AD related applications such as Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and associated technologies such as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), which include both on-premises and Entra responsibilities. Key Skills
High level understanding of Azure AD Tenant, PowerShell, and Application Programming Interface (API) management. Strong problem-solving capabilities, with experience in AD Disaster Recovery, and the ability to effectively employ available resources and best practices (i.e. automation of manual procedures) where applicable. Familiarity with delegated access to AD and the principle of least privilege for users and admins, along with knowledge of standard and bespoke methods for Role Based Access Control. Experience in Windows administration for toolset installs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting. Experience with Group Policy Management, as well as Administration of DNS, WINS, and DHCP, is desired. Involvement in migration and synchronisation of on-premises AD objects to Entra or proposals for such. Excellent communication skills, utilising technical knowledge to maximise customer satisfaction.
