Role Overview The Secondary Design Engineer will be working on electrical projects on behalf of the Company that will involve projects up to 132kV, working as part of a team to complete the full secondary design packages. You will also be required to assist in the conceptual design of various types of energy projects, principally Solar Farms and Battery Energy Storage System facilities. You will be required to adhere to all safety regulations, quality standards and project specifications. What will you be doing? Design:

Development of Conceptual secondary designs up to 132kV (Contestable and Private Networks) Development of detailed secondary designs up to 132kV (Contestable and Private Networks)

AC/DC Schematics General Arrangements Wiring Diagrams Interconnection diagrams Cable Block Diagrams Cable Schedules Core Sheets

Development of standard secondary design schemes for 33/66/132kV systems. Development of Bill of Materials to be issued to Panel Manufacturers. Support Panel Manufacturers queries. Support on site Secondary Design issues – Red/Green markup drawings. Produce full suite of As Built Secondary Design drawings

What are we looking for? Minimum 5 years of experience in secondary design EHV substation project design experience up to 132kV AutoCAD Excellent knowledge of all published guidelines, ENA standards, policies and procedures, from national and international standards to DNO and EP policies, to ensure satisfactory delivery of work A sound knowledge of engineering design principles. An understanding of construction methods. A clean driving licence and flexible approach to working hours. Why join us?
