We are currently seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and reputable engineering firm in the UK building services industry. Position: M&E Quantity SurveyorSalary: £55,000 - £70,000 + benefitsLocation: WiganJob Type: Permanent, Full-time About the Company Our client is a respected provider of mechanical and electrical engineering services, known for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, and healthcare. Their expertise, customer-focused approach, and commitment to excellence have earned them a strong reputation in the industry. Due to an expanding portfolio of projects, they are looking for a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team, overseeing the financial management and cost control of various M&E projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.

Conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.

Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting on project progress.

Work closely with project management teams to ensure project costs remain within budget.

What We’re Looking For A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the M&E sector.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within building services.

Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical and financial management skills.
