The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join our EMEA team. You will play a crucial role in driving the technical pre-sales process, partnering with the sales team to identify customer needs, and proposing effective technical solutions by delivering best in class software demonstrations and sales presentations to prospects as nurtured by the Sales and Marketing teams. In addition to this, you will assist the EMEA Sales team by capturing and defining requirements to inform contract discussions and provide early visibility to the build and solution teams.

This role requires a deep understanding of the INSTANDA platform, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

What you will do

Act as a partner to the Sales team, owning the solutions aspect of the sales process.

Develop and deliver best in class sales demonstrations based on prospect information regarding insurance products, use cases, and desired functionality gathered by Sales and Solutions teams.

Develop high quality sales presentations based on information gathered from sales that articulate platform value based on prospects needs.

Provide technical guidance and support during the sales process, addressing any business or technical queries from clients.

Develop and deliver proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot projects to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our platform.

Assist in the development of product business cases, working closely with the solutions team to agree on and understand new features and ensure alignment to client demand.

Think strategically about the product – what next, when, how.

Assist with insurance product development requirements and provide clarity to development and solution forums.

Work with clients to understand new and emerging needs – and act as an advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and mapping our solutions to their needs.

Provide input to the INSTANDA platform roadmap and prioritization of future roadmap items.

Maintain demo environments, own the INSTANDA client demo suite, including ongoing improvements and ensuring alignment to client demand.

Create and maintain existing technical pre-sales documentation, including solution blueprints, integration guides, and best practices.

Act as a product expert and manage communication of product and demo developments across the business, including scheduling of relevant product training sessions for the sales team.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in no-code (and low-code) technologies to effectively position our value proposition.

Build relationships across the client base, and facilitate post sales customer advisory product updates sessions.

Requirements

Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., business, economics, marketing, technology) preferred but not required.

5-10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution consulting role within the SaaS industry, preferably with a focus on no-code or low-code platforms.

Strong background (preferably a mixture of business and technology) with hands-on experience in software development, system architecture, and integrations.

Insurance expertise in P&C is strongly desired; Experience with an insurance carrier or agent is preferred.

Experience in a SaaS company with ability to manage technical requirements from client needs and preparing and presenting customer demos, resulting in positive new business sales wins and platform results.

Proven record of identifying client requirements and converting them into software sales and deliverables.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong consulting and relationship building skills, both with clients and internally within the organization.

Strong communicator with great customer engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas and requirements to business stakeholders and translate business requirements to engineering teams.

Ability to understand and communicate client needs to ensure they are represented as part of the strategic client roadmap.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Active desire to increase exposure to new technologies and a passion for self-learning.
