Purpose of Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Process Improvement Engineer to lead the charge in optimising manufacturing processes and boosting efficiency within the organisation. Responsibilities: Identifying, designing and implementing enhancements to the process Conduct in-depth analyses of current manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste and improve productivity Implement and sustain lean manufacturing methodologies, such as Six Sigma, across the facility Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and introduce best practices in production Optimise material flow, equipment utilisation and production layouts. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring efficient and scalable production processes Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement projects Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Person Specification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Strong knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process mapping tools Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software and MS Office applications Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead and influence at all levels Proactive, hands-on approach to identifying and implementing solutions Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
