About the role: You will be based in any one of our key New Zealand offices. We are looking for a team player to strengthen our Electrical Discipline across New Zealand and deliver our existing backlog. You will be working on our industrial, power, hydro, and infrastructure projects, delivering challenging, multimillion-dollar and multi-disciplinary projects across New Zealand, North America, Australia, and the Pacific. You will contribute to the delivery of Electrical work packages, working as part of the project Electrical team under the guidance of a Principal Engineer. You will collaborate with Mechanical and Process engineers on multidisciplinary projects. You will have client-facing opportunities and site work which offers variety in daily tasks. This is your opportunity to grow or reinforce your abilities as an Electrical Engineer. What you need to bring Our preferred candidate for this role will have technical experience in aspects of Electrical Engineering for infrastructure and industrial projects. An understanding and experience with electrical systems and infrastructure design in NZ or Australia. You will have experience in working to the requirements of relevant AS/NZS standards relating to Electrical Engineering areas. You will enjoy working as a team and communicate well with others. You will have proven experience in working in diverse teams and managing your own delivery. You will understand the tools, including Electrical CAD and modelling software. You will be comfortable dealing with external stakeholders including clients and utility companies. Key requirements are a BE Electrical or equivalent, plus a minimum of 6 years professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry. CPEng or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
