Make Your Mark:

Our Software Engineering team is a collection of extremely passionate engineers who play a crucial role in delivering high-quality releases to our customers by designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and scaling our cloud-based services. They research, test, benchmark, and evaluate new technologies, collaborate with other teams to define and build new scalable features, and optimize existing features while writing elegant code. Few teams offer such amazing learning opportunities and possibilities for advancement as the BlackLine Engineering team.

You'll Get To:

Work with a team to deliver features and improve architecture. Own full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and operating in production. Build solutions with an elevated level of reliability, scalability, and security. Demonstrate an ability to learn and adopt relevant innovative technologies, tools, methods, and processes to leverage in your solutions. Independently take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and projects.

What You'll Bring:

Completing a degree in Computer Science or related technical field. A solid computer science foundation including data structures and algorithms. Experience in previous software engineering internships a plus. 0-2 years of experience with software development in object-oriented programming languages including but not limited to: C#, Java, C++. Basic knowledge of SQL. Perform critical maintenance, deployment, and release support activities, including occasional off-hours support as directed. Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.

We’re Even More Excited If You Have:

Exposure to Scrum, or other Agile development methodologies. Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks, etc.). Passion for engineering excellence through automation, unit testing, and process improvements.
