We are currently recruiting for an eLearning Administrator to work in the Training & Development Department at Showsec’s head office by the historic New Walk in Leicester City Centre. Conveniently located within walking distance of Leicester train station and the city centre. This is an opportunity for the eLearning Administrator to design and develop educational courses using corresponding authoring tools for full-time, part-time and onboarding candidates. This individual is responsible for the administration and maintenance of eLearning programs and the learning platform which will help to instruct, inform and educate staff across the organisation. This is a 12 month fixed term contract. What you will be doing

Responsible for the analysis, design, and development of eLearning courses and eBriefings including scripting and storyboarding for course materials, activities, and assessments. In the case of larger projects, guiding and collaborating with internal and external team members Using Articulate 360 and other relevant software to create and update Showsec’s training material Liaise as needed with stakeholders to ensure all on-line materials and resources meet the organisations training goals and objectives To ensure that all online learning material is tested, quality checked and fit for purpose prior to upload Develop and deploy eLearning feedback mechanisms, including analysis and reporting of any outcomes Create, administer, analyse, and report on end-user progress and results; recommend and integrate training improvement strategies based on findings To continually review and update technical infrastructure to deliver eLearning content to its audience on the platform effectively To be a point of contact with our hosting company and IT department for all technical issues relating to the platform and provide feedback Dealing with any technical queries pertaining to eLearning courses and eBriefings and the learning platform Where necessary, coach and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team on eLearning related activities Leading the administrative duties relating to the provision of training for Showsec’s workforce Supporting other departments within the Product Resourcing department as directed by the Training and Development Manager Any other duties commensurate with the post, as directed by the Training and Development Manager or eLearning Team Leader What Showsec can offer you

An understanding of Articulate 360 software (Rise and Storyline skills) A background in any of the following areas: Media/Graphic Design/Marketing/eLearning Strong IT skills including Excel and web-based programs Forward thinking and confidence to present new ideas to the department Highly literate, with excellent writing skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritise efficiently with great time management skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communications skills and ability to liaise with different stakeholders at all levels of seniority Showsec is an equal opportunities employer committed to creating and celebrating an inclusive environment.
