experienced Delivery Manager

to join a leading Central Government organisation. This position provides a unique chance to apply your expertise in delivery management within a high-profile and impactful environment.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising project delivery processes, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will leverage your extensive background in government projects to design and implement solutions that enhance team productivity and efficiency. This role is primarily based in Devon, requiring attendance 3-4 days a month. The contract runs until

29th August 2025

and offers

£500 per day inside IR35 .

Key Responsibilities: Define and Align Objectives : Set measurable project goals and ensure team alignment. Lead Agile Practices : Implement Agile methodologies, including sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster flexibility and accountability. Enhance Communication : Promote open communication channels for swift issue resolution and effective collaboration. Monitor Progress : Use tools such as Jira to track tasks, deadlines, and overall progress, maintaining full visibility. Drive Continuous Improvement : Provide regular feedback to support professional growth and high morale within the team. Support Automation Efforts : Champion automation as a key enabler of efficiency and productivity in project delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, preferably within Central Government or similar environments. Expertise in Agile methodologies and proficiency with tools such as Jira. A strong track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Ability to implement solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes. Active
