The
Retail
function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services. We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations. The COO Office has Business Risk & Control teams across various risk types, acting as a safeguard for the business. Job Responsibilities
- Creating detailed project plans and overseeing workstreams within GR units. - Organising and leading discussions to update respective stakeholders with weekly status reports through working groups on the progress of the workstreams. - Liaising with other PMO and BAU teams to provide updates and answer questions as necessary. - Escalating key risks, defining mitigations, and communicating accordingly with relevant stakeholders. - Troubleshooting key risks/issues, and working out interim & long-term approaches, thereafter monitoring dependencies. - Maintaining robust governance around decisions made, risks escalated, timeline changes, and other project-related matters. - Monitoring progress, dependencies, risks/issues at the overall project and workstream level. - Facilitating internal and external communications, including weekly/monthly status updates through Leadership Team, AFC Forums/Committee and regulators. - Being the central person/team to connect various parties within and outside the workstream, within & outside GR. - Working with BAU teams through Test & Learn phase and also post-implementation monitoring. Job Requirements
- At least 8 years of direct experience in the financial industry, preferably in risk, governance and compliance related functions. - Domain knowledge in AML and Sanctions (other Fin. Crime and Conduct risks are a plus). - Strong organization skills with excellent attention to detail. - Senior stakeholder management, with the ability to build constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders and challenge where required. - Able to create and articulate plans, actions, solutions and strategies well through PowerPoint or presentation mode. - Demonstrates in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in related fields. - Solid experience in Risk, Control & Governance, Operations, Assurance and Analytics.
