About the Role: We are seeking a skilled HV Project Engineer with rail E&P experience and a proven track record in working with HV 25kV systems to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on active projects across multiple locations, including but not limited to Leeds, Doncaster, Snowdonia, and Sheffield.

In this role, you will be responsible for HV switchgear testing, project relays, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will also manage the procurement of materials and coordinate with third-party contracts for smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: ·Organize necessary equipment and materials for upcoming site activities, including HV switchgear testing equipment ·Manage material procurement for HV components (terminations, cables, switchgear) to support site operations.

Site Responsibilities: ·Conduct quality assurance checks on site, ensuring safety compliance and reviewing site documentation and methodologies. ·Perform informal audits within the company to maintain operational excellence. ·Act as the on-ground authority, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently, with no shortcuts taken. ·Supervise all contractors and staff on-site, ensuring the relevant competencies are adhered to. ·Monitor progress against agreed-upon schedules and programmes. ·Ensure installations comply with agreed method statements, Network Rail standards, and legislation. ·Installation of a variety of new electrification equipment as required ·Panel Wiring & Switchgear fitting (both indoor & outdoor) ·Modify installations as required ·Install conduit/trunking (cable containment as required)

About You: We are looking for a highly skilled individual with: ·HV Competent certification and experience with HV Switchgear. ·Proven experience on 25kV systems and rail E&P projects. ·Strong ability to test switchgear and understand project relays. ·Competence in reviewing wiring and interlocking diagrams. ·Flexibility to work away from home as needed across locations in Leeds, Doncaster, Snowdonia, and Sheffield.
