Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Engineering Manager with all aspects of leading the Engineering team Own and lead defined tasks, including process improvement and supporting the forthcoming AS9100 implementation Carry out 3D CAD development, working with customer surface/packaging data, from concept through to serial production Create high-quality, concise engineering drawings and progress these through the Engineering Change Management process Ensure all time, cost, quality, and weight targets are monitored, managed, and met Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues Deputise for the Engineering Manager as required Occasional international travel to support the broad customer base
Job Requirements:
Experience in using Siemens SolidEdge CAD is a distinct advantage Proven track record of managing projects from concept through to manufacture Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience Experience within a mechanical engineering field Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Team player, enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and manage own time to meet required deadlines Aircraft Cabin Interior Engineering experience is a bonus but not essential
