We are seeking an experienced Security & HSE Officer to provide security services including mobile activities for the organisation. As a Security & HSE Officer you will also be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to any security concerns.

Please note this role is office based in Bournemouth.

In return for this, we are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a security role with a strong health and safety awareness.

Understanding of Microsoft platforms such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Valid SIA approved security qualification.

Thorough attention to detail, with excellent concentration skills.

The ability to be vigilant and alert, being aware of surroundings.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The ability to remain patient and calm under pressure.

A valid UK Driving licence.

What would I be doing as a Security & HSE Officer at 4Com?

Regularly inspect and patrol all areas of the premises, including the car park, to maintain security and safety standards.

Operate and analyse CCTV surveillance systems to detect and address any unusual activity or incidents.

Act on and report any suspicious behaviours and happenings, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.

Be a key member of the Fire team and First aid team and assist in weekly fire alarm tests and moving forward be a named key holder for emergency call outs.

Monitor the front of house as well as securing and monitoring all exit points to prevent unauthorised access.

Enforce safety measures and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment for everyone on the premises.

Authorise the entrance of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

Assist fleet in driving fleet cars as needed.
