We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients finance team and play a critical role in managing costs and driving business performance. Client Details We are a well-established manufacturing and production company based in Milton Keynes, dedicated to delivering high-quality products while optimizing operational efficiency. With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, we aim to enhance revenue control and financial transparency across our operations. Description Management Accountant Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights into cost drivers and trends. Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and cost-saving initiatives. Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of stock levels and movements. Conduct regular reconciliations and support cycle counts or stock audits. Analyze slow-moving and obsolete stock to optimize inventory levels. Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing and financial processes and recommend improvements. Work closely with operations teams to streamline cost control measures. Implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure data integrity. Act as a key financial partner to production and operations teams, providing insights and recommendations. Support decision-making by delivering clear and actionable financial information. Present financial reports and cost analysis to senior management.
