**Qualified Accountant- Taunton, Bath or Exeter****About the role**We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Qualified Accountant to join one of our Accounts Teams. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting senior managers and associates with client work, project management, and team coordination. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain more responsibility while developing their skills within a supportive environment.You won’t need to manage your own client portfolio; instead, your focus will be on providing essential support to senior staff, ensuring deadlines are met, and helping the team deliver outstanding service.Responsibilities to include:* To assist in the management of the day-to-day needs of managers client portfolios.* To plan, carry out and review client work in a variety of areas within accounting, tax, and commercial business advice.* To handle client queries and proactively advise them on a wide range of financial and commercial matters, where possible and with input from the seniors around you.* To proactively bring matters to the attention of the senior managers.* To aid the development of the junior members of the team.* To deliver excellent client service.* To organise own time and workload.**About you**You will be ACCA/ACA qualified, with at least 3+ years of experience working in practice. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential due to amount of client contact and interaction with those in your team, both communicating with your seniors and the juniors in which you will have a hand in developing.You will be a key member of the qualified staff within the team, assisting our senior managers with the management a portfolio of clients, organise your own time, and share in the responsibility of managing and developing the team of junior trainee staff.
