An experienced CNC service engineer is required for a highly regarded household name in the CNC machine tool industry. Globally recognized as true leaders in the world of CNC machining, with a reputation for exceptional quality and reliability. They have one of the strongest networks of service engineers across the UK, along with support in other areas such as applications and technical support. Benefits include: Basic salary of up to £45K for a fully experienced electrical bias engineer Ongoing salary reviews after successful probation and training OTE of £55K+ with travel time door to door Overtime paid at x1.5 for weekdays/Saturdays Monthly bonuses Company vehicle with choice of car or van Mobile phone & laptop 33 days holiday Private pension Responsibilities for the service engineer include: Breakdown repairs and maintenance of CNC Machines including multi-axis Mills and Lathes Routine service and inspections, as well as fault finding Carrying out mechanical and minor electrical repairs to ballscrews, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, drives, panels, and software faults Machine levelling and alignments Installation and commissioning of machinery on site Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting Providing end user training and customer support both remotely and on site Travel from home to site covering regionally to your location on service and breakdown, but be prepared to travel nationally when installation & commissioning projects are required. They have over 30 trained technicians across the UK, along with office-based technical support staff at the end of the phone for troubleshooting support. Product training provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team. We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience: Previous experience as a CNC service engineer, or service technician Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery Experience working with either FANUC or Siemens controls Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking, and equipment inspections Willingness to travel nationally, and be prepared to stay overnight if required Clean driving license ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
