Maintenance Team Leader
to work on a mobile basis across Greater Manchester providing general building services maintenance and compliance checking on secure government estates. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, plus participation in the on-call rota. Basic salary 29.5k plus standby and overtime, 32 days hol (inc BH), life cover, and van supplied.
Maintenance Team Leader Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Hard Services Manager To carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across the estates To manage all first line interaction with the Hard Services Team in a formal and informal capacity To supervise a small team of maintenance assistants To lead on compliance checks such as tap temps/anti-legionella, emergency lighting, etc. Carry out regular health and safety checks across all sites within the contract To provide additional support and cover in work as and when required
Requirements:
Experience in a similar multi-sited role Must have a full valid UK driving license due to the requirement to travel between sites across Greater Manchester Relevant general maintenance experience essential and of supervising staff across various locations Must be able to pass relevant vetting levels for the client in question Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures Computer literate (CAFM experience an advantage)
