Quantity Surveyor job available in mid-Cornwall
Permanent role - New build - principal commercial building contractor.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor experienced in commercial or maintenance projects with a leading and established principal contractor in the mid-Cornwall area.
Quantity Surveyor Day to Day:
Provide estimates/costs to clients where necessary
Send all orders to subcontractors
Request quotations from subcontractors
Agree subcontractors' variations
Sign off subcontractors' variations and orders
Order materials for Operatives and Supervisors
Apply valuations and invoices to clients as agreed dates
Raise client invoices
Weekly internal contract meeting
Measure bigger jobs to capture all elements of works
Inform client of variation required (Subcontractor identified variation)
Record pre-order number on service connect
Record details of subcontractor variation on service connect
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
Relevant Surveying Degree
Good Quantity Surveying Experience
Salary is flexible up to £55-70k + car allowance or van.
