About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning HVAC Engineer to join our team in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the maintenance, installation, and repair of HVAC systems across various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including VRV/VRF systems, split systems, and ducted systems. Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems. Ensure systems comply with operational and safety standards.

System Optimization:

Optimize HVAC systems for energy efficiency and performance. Provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solutions. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer, with a focus on air conditioning systems. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or equivalent. F-Gas certification (Category 1) is essential. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and blueprints. Knowledge of current regulations and standards, including BS EN 378 and FGAS regulations. Valid UK driving license. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Skills:

Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems). Additional certifications, such as IPAF, PASMA, or first aid training. Familiarity with renewable technologies like heat pumps. Benefits:
