Key Responsibilities: As a software Tester, you will work within cross-functional teams, performing a variety of tasks, including: Reviewing and critiquing acceptance criteria for stories and features. Preparing detailed, well-structured test cases and test plans based on requirements within Azure. Creating SQL statements to extract data for test cases and development. Assessing which test cases are suitable for test automation and the types of automation. Executing API calls through Postman or Bruno. Managing test artifacts using source control management (e.g., Git). Effectively logging and managing defects. Triaging support issues through components and environments.

Specialisations:

Our software testers specialise in one or more of the following areas: Test Automation:

Creating automated acceptance tests through the UI and API, load and stress testing suites, and defining processes for test automation management. You must understand test frameworks, best practices, different automation tools, and have proficiency with scripting languages. User Acceptance & Exploration:

Organising user acceptance sessions, answering queries on new and existing functionality, showcasing newly developed functionality, and exploring new features to ensure they provide expected value. Business Analysis:

Defining acceptance criteria and breaking down features into stories and tasks.

Requirements: Essential Skills & Experience:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong mathematical and statistical skills (at least at the bachelor level in disciplines like Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Finance). Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing. Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Bruno). Knowledge of Oracle SQL. Familiarity with Test Plans in Azure DevOps for managing test cases. Experience in one or more of our specialisations.

Desirable Skills:

ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
