Be able to use a high level of empathy when discussing diagnosis and prognosis. Be able to adapt interaction style to facilitate communication where patients/carers may themselves have impaired communication or find the information difficult to accept. Have a high level of both written and communication skills. Have strong analytical skills to interpret complex and/or conflicting clinical information. Be able to consider the opinions and priorities of other people and organisations when planning interventions. About us

Qualifications

HCPC Registration. Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy. Able to have a caring and empathetic approach to support patients and their families emotionally and psychologically. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
