This Ofsted rated Outstanding school in Carterton has more students that have been diagnosed with Autism. Many of these children also have co-existing issues such as SEMH needs.
The Carterton school needs a Youth Mental Health Worker to come in and support their students in their day-to-day activities.
The SEN students that attend this school are between the ages of 4 and 11. Each child has a personalised EHCP and individual intervention plans designed to help them thrive. As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will be part of ensuring that they are able to complete their academic work while also helping them navigate through their emotions. You will also play a part in helping them learn functional life skills, helping them be as independent as possible.

Previous proven track-record for supporting EYFS, KS1, KS2 students in Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant or similar roles. Determined to make a difference. Proactive. Understand the importance of safeguarding. People who would benefit largely from this role would be psychology graduates as well as those with a background in sport, art, drama, or music.
