As a staff nurse / preceptorship nurse, your responsibilities will be to; Uphold our core values of promoting openness, transparency and learning; Effectively running the shift and attending regular meetings to review and monitor patients' care plans; Building relationships with patients to encourage trust, while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns; Ensuring the correct administration of medication, including injections, and monitoring side effects; Accurately recording patient information and communicating with other MDT staff regarding patient care needs. Offer support and supervise the practice of junior staff and student Nurses in order to ensure safe and effective nursing practice within a secure environment. Performing administrative duties. Involved in the screening, assessment and follow up support of patients. Provide care and support to patients and families and work effectively as part of the wider Multidisciplinary team. Qualifications
Registered Nurse with current registration (mental health / LD/ Adult) appropriate to the job role Knowledge/Experience
