The Queen Victoria Hospital is looking for experienced Operating Department Practitioners/Theatre Nurses. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to further develop leadership skills in a forward-thinking team, striving to provide a high standard of care to our patients.
You will have vision and leadership qualities that will contribute to a safe, productive, efficient team.
You must:
Be NMC/HCPC registered
Have significant post-graduate experience
Be happy to train and develop
Have excellent communication skills, along with being organised and showcasing excellent patient care
If you are successfully appointed to this role and complete a 6-month probationary period, you will be eligible for a two-stage New Starter Premium of £1500 in total.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead the team and facilitate the provision of a coordinated, high-quality service in the following surgical specialties: Major head and neck reconstructive surgery Maxillofacial Surgery Plastic Surgery including major reconstruction Hand surgery Ophthalmics, including corneal grafts Burns for reconstructive surgery Trauma Our success is underpinned by the skills and enthusiasm of our team and a strong culture of partnership.
