Supply Desk is pleased to be working with good rated schools in the Aylesbury/North Buckinghamshire area that pride themselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children, allowing them to succeed to the best of their ability no matter what challenges they may face. The school is looking for support with some of its students and is seeking an excellent support member of staff.
The children may need support with:
Understanding instructions and the requirements of tasks Understanding how they affect and relate to their immediate surroundings Personal organisation over the short, medium and long term Visual and auditory memory for information, processes and instructions
The role will require the following responsibilities: Providing personal care to children Creating a positive learning atmosphere Collaborating with the teacher and assisting with creating and delivering activities Recording children's progress and feeding back to the teacher Supporting on a 1:1 or small group basis
The ideal candidate will have/be: A friendly and welcoming approach Able to commit to working fixed days - full or part time A clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
