Job Purpose

Orderly is rapidly scaling, and we need a strategic and hands-on Head of Implementation to take ownership of our fast-moving project pipeline. With our business growing quickly, this role will ensure we meet high project turnover demands, deliver efficiently, and increase unit count while maintaining quality. Leading the Project Management team, you will provide clear direction, ensure accountability through regular reporting, and step in to support or lead initiatives when needed. This role is perfect for a results-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments, balances strategy with hands-on delivery, and is passionate about driving both team performance and business growth. Main Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Assume end-to-end responsibility for all ongoing and new projects, ensuring they are executed with precision, prioritised effectively, and delivered on time and profitably. This requires a deep understanding of the company’s current phase of pre-investment growth, while preparing for an imminent investment round where increasing turnover and driving efficiency will be critical to scaling operations and meeting strategic goals. Adopt a hands-on leadership approach, actively co-managing key initiatives and personally leading high-profile or complex projects when necessary to ensure their success. Cultivate a high-performing, solutions-focused team culture that inspires confidence, trust, and collaboration across the organisation. Lead by example, demonstrating a proactive and committed approach to overcoming challenges and delivering excellence. Project Delivery & Escalation Management

Handle escalations with confidence and autonomy, ensuring challenges are resolved effectively and senior leadership is provided with clear, actionable updates only when necessary. Take ownership of complex issues, demonstrating a calm, structured approach to overcoming obstacles and delivering results. Proactively communicate with senior leaders, presenting clear plans for delivering work profitably and instilling confidence in the execution of all projects. Operational Excellence

Develop and maintain delivery processes that are scalable, effective, and fit for purpose, ensuring controls are proportional to the complexity and scale of each project. Emphasise pragmatism by selecting the right tools and methodologies for each situation, balancing efficiency with robust delivery. Continuously optimise resource allocation, workflows, and profitability to support rapid growth without introducing unnecessary overhead. Drive a culture of adaptability and responsiveness, ensuring operational practices evolve to meet the demands of a fast-growing business. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met while managing expectations and delivering value. Act as a key liaison between internal teams, fostering clear communication and alignment across functions. Ensure stakeholders are regularly updated on project status, risks, and achievements with professionalism and clarity. Strategic Contribution

Play an active role in preparing for and supporting the upcoming investment round by communicating project delivery insights and metrics to investors. Contribute to the development of financial models by providing data on project profitability, resource utilisation, and scalability, ensuring alignment with growth targets. Continuously refine and improve project delivery processes, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency. Ensure professional services align with the company’s broader goals, contributing to profitability and customer satisfaction. Play a key role in maintaining Orderly’s reputation for excellence by delivering high-quality results across all engagements. Key Requirements

Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading and managing project delivery teams, preferably in software development, digital agencies, or complex bespoke environments involving complex configuration and customisation of SaaS platforms. Extensive expertise in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation to completion, ensuring profitability and quality outcomes. Strong track record of resolving complex challenges and managing escalations independently. Strong expertise in driving scalable implementations by applying the right tools and methodologies for each situation, ensuring measurable business impact while maintaining efficiency. Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Leadership & Personal Attributes

Hands-on leader with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach. Hyper-organised, detail-focused, and comfortable operating in high-pressure environments. A proactive, calm, and capable problem-solver who inspires confidence in others. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and foster alignment. Qualifications

While a recognised qualification in project or programme management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile certifications) is desirable, it is not essential. What matters most is using the right tools and approaches for the right job, applying proportional controls to ensure effective delivery without unnecessary complexity. Why Join Orderly?

An exciting opportunity to take ownership of a critical function, driving operational excellence and delivering impactful results. Work on complex projects for high-profile clients in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Competitive salary and excellent performance-based bonuses for exceeding delivery and profitability targets. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, drive results, and be the go-to person for ensuring smooth and successful project delivery, we’d love to hear from you.

Inclusivity statement At Orderly, we value diversity, creativity, and continuous learning. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply, even if they don't meet every listed requirement. We believe in the potential for unique perspectives to drive innovation and success. If you are passionate, have a commitment to growth, and a willingness to learn, we invite you to apply. We are excited to welcome individuals who bring fresh ideas and diverse experiences to contribute to our dynamic team and help us achieve our collective goals.
