The post holder will be responsible for providing senior professional, operational and clinical leadership to: Promote clinical excellence in the care of patients along the major trauma patient pathway. Provide strong visible clinical leadership along the pathway of the patient. Provide expert and clinical advice and support to the multi-professional team along the major trauma patients pathway. Ensure that patients and users are involved in their care ensuring there is visible evidence that their feedback is used to maintain standards or implement improvements in care along the pathway of the patient. Work autonomously to deliver evidence-based service which enhances patient quality care along the major trauma patient pathway. Ensure that major trauma patients are managed in the timeliest fashion according to their needs. Support the delivery of the HB's Major Trauma vision for major trauma patients and pathways. Support the achievement of TU performance targets. Drive through changes and be involved in audit and research to ensure that clinical outcomes and patient experience continually improve. Be an advocate and visible point of contact for patients and families. Contribute to ongoing service improvements. Provide specialist education and training to other staff and students. Undertake research and lead audit in own specialist area. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us
