Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Health and Social Care, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards. Create a supportive learning environment that encourages participation. Implement innovative teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse needs. Carefully assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Foster positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues. Stay updated on current trends, research, and advancements in the field of Health and Social Care, incorporating relevant content into lesson plans. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health and Social Care or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is highly advantageous, however, experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered for the role. Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care principles, theories, and practices, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.
