As Theatre Practitioner you will: Work primarily as a scrub practitioner, with the occasional need to work as an anaesthetic or recovery practitioner (once full training is given if required). Assess and implement patient care requirements and evaluate outcomes. Communicate effectively with other departments e.g. Sterile Services, Wards, Imaging Department to ensure effective and smooth-running patient care. Ensure that patients’ comfort, dignity, and privacy are always maintained. Ensure that your own practice and the practice of others is within an ethical and legal framework. Person Specification
Qualifications
Be a qualified and registered Practitioner (RN or ODP). Experience
Be patient orientated with a focus on continuous service improvement. Have evidence of continuous professional development and its application. Have post-registration clinical experience as a Scrub and Anaesthetic or Recovery Practitioner in an acute hospital (NHS or independent). Experience of planning, co-ordinating and running the daily workload in a theatre suite, including the supervision of staff. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
