17-year-old young man living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy requires 1:1 support to enable him to maintain his independence and participate in activities he enjoys. Wheelchair user. Village location.
His interests include football, gaming, getting out with the dog, Formula 1, and going to the cinema.
Support required with personal care, meal preparation, getting out and about.
Requirements
Must be flexible Must hold a clean driving license and be confident to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle 13 hours per week term time and 24 hours per week college holidays. Some flexibility required.
£12.10/hr. Paid annual leave entitlement equivalent to 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata).
DBS clearance is required and the successful applicant will be contacted directly regarding this.
