To be responsible for the management and leadership of a team of health professionals providing care over a 24-hour period. To provide effective leadership and management to staff which promotes high performance standards both individually and as a team. Expected to lead the ward team in providing high quality, compassionate nursing care and will be able to demonstrate this through compliance with performance outcomes. Experience
Able to demonstrate experience at a senior clinical level including staff management/supervision experience. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of leading a team through change. Qualified as a nurse for over 2 years. Qualifications
Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip SW or Dip OT or equivalent, or HCPC registered. Ongoing professional development working towards degree level. Higher degree or post-graduate certificate in area of clinical/therapeutic practice. Skills
